A couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to be invited to a fantastic event at an independent spa in Hove called Uniquely Organic EcoSpa. I had such a wonderful time during the evening and look a few photos that I wanted to share on my blog!
The evening started around 4pm on a Saturday afternoon where we were greeted with many friendly faces and a glass of prosecco. I also knew quite a few other girls who attended the event as well as people who I’ve followed on Instagram for ages but have never met, this really made the evening extra special.
Once arriving at the spa we were asked what treatment we wanted to receive, we were presented with a long list including massages, facials, eyelash and eyebrow tinting, manicures and pedicures. Now I do love a massage as it really helps me feel super relaxed and I also get conscious that I’m going to have problems with my back as a result in working in an office all day so when I heard a massage was up for grabs, I did not hesitate and jumped at the chance.
After choosing what treatments we’d like to have we were then given a little talk about the spa and its history as well as how the evening was going to run. I then took some time to take some photos, meet some new people, catch up with the girls I hadn’t seen in a while as well as stuff my face with cute little cupcakes!
A few conversations and glasses of prosecco later and it was time for my massage! I absolutely love getting massages, it’s the time when I feel the most relaxed and all thoughts just escape me, after what felt like just a few minutes my massage was sadly over but it was perfect. I then went back upstairs to the main room where we then sat and received a talk from the owner of the spa all about female empowerment and it was so uplift and inspiration to hear, it was a fantastic way to end the evening.
When it was time to leave we were all lucky enough to receive a fab little gift bag full on skincare products, incense and loads of other little bits! I had such a fantastic time at this event and I think it is one of the best events I’ve actually been to, purely because it was so unique (no pun intended on the spa’s name haha) and relaxing, I’m definitely going to be paying another visit as soon as possible!
