Christmas is easily one of the best times of the year, the Christmas food, movies, songs and decorations make everyone happy and full of ‘Christmas cheer’, however, Christmas shopping can be a massive ball ache. I for one love getting people gift but the actual process of thinking what to buy them then going out and getting it is my idea of hell.
With that in mind I decided to make a ‘gift guide for her’ (even if it’s a little latter than planned. but hey nothing ever really goes to plan does it). I’ve seen a few of these gift guides floating around the internet and thought they were a really cool idea, plus making the image for this blog was super fun. But anyways, here is my ‘Christmas Gift Guide for Her’, I hope this gives you lot a little inspiration and you never know I might even do one for him before xmas – if I get round to it.
1. Lush bath bombs
Okay so what girl doesn’t love bath bombs? And what girl isn’t obsessed with everything about Lush. Bath bombs from Lush are a fantastic little gift idea as either a stocking filler or you can get a whole gift box as a main present. Lush are amazing at doing seasonal themed smelly stuff including bath bombs, bubble bars, shower gel etc. and anything you buy from there smells simply amazing, so you can’t really go wrong.
2. NYX Matte Lipstick
Make up is always a winner with most girls, but it’s very important you get the right type, colour, brand etc. Lipsticks/glosses are always a safe bet as a girl can never have too many. NYX Matte Lipsticks (Lingerie) are bloody beautiful, come in a range of stunning nude shades and I wish I owned every single one.
3. Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit
Again make up is a winner and this Glow Kit is b-e-a-u-tiful. Ever girl wants to be glowing like a god damn star this Christmas so treat her this Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit and she’ll love you forever. Hahaha, no but seriously this Glow Kit is amazing, Anastasia Beverly Hills offer 5 different Glow Kits which are all stunning and will make your cheek bones pop like they’ve never popped before.
I know this is such a cliché present but Christmas is made for receiving cringey Christmas sleepwear and super fluffy socks, I’m talking the kinda socks you can easily skid along the floor in. I personally live in fluffy socks all year round as I believe they are the greatest thing to ever exist so I feel this would be 100% a fabulous present.
5. Perfume
Every girl loves to smell great so perfume is without a doubt a fabulous gift idea. I’m currently still so in love with ‘Armani Code Satin’ because it smells beautiful. However, you can get some perfumes pretty cheap, I have an ‘everyday perfume’ from Avon that was about a tenner and it smells fab.
Most girls use a handbag everyday, I know I definitely do and after using the same bag everyday it becomes a bit worn and tired looking. The Tommy Hilfiger bag included in the feature image is currently top of my wish list.
7. A Watch
A watch is always a fantastic accessory to any outfit. I particularly really want a stunning Olivia Burton watch, they’re not too big and in your face and are a pretty good price, however I still haven’t worked out whether or not I want the Rose Gold or Silver – maybe Ill just get both.
8. Moisturiser
No one likes dry skin which is why moisturiser is a very handy gift. One of my favourite brands at the moment, and has been for a while is Soap and Glory.I am in love with their Righteous Butter, it has aloe vera in it and smells bloody amazing.
Christmas isn’t Christmas without a few festive candles.I always feel that a great way to feel festive and cosy is to light a special little (or big) scented candle and where else better to get your candles from than Yankee.
10. Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 Instant Camera (Polaroid Camera)
Lastly, as we all know Polaroid pictures are super cool now and look fabulous on ya old Instagram grid. I’ve has the Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 Instant Camera for a while now, I just think its so cute and I love the idea of easily having physical photos that you can keep forever in an instant.
