So since The Walking Dead season 6 finale last week, I’ve been stuck with things to watch. I’ve heard a lot of people talk about Lost in the past, so I thought I’d give it a go (even though I am like 12 years late to the craze – woops).
Two nights ago I started season one and I’m already onto episode 8, so I think it’s safe to say I’m really enjoying it so far. I felt the opening scene was very intense and grasping, with plane wreckage scattered across the beach of some mystery island. Since watching the first episode I have been hooked and desperate to watch episode after episode.
I’d have to say that I currently have two favourite characters who are Hurley and Charlie. Hurley because he’s just too lovely and hilarious and I like Charlie because he’s edgy and mysterious yet kind of a freaky character.
The thing I like about the show so far is the characters are kept kind of in secret and each episode slowly reveals their past through powerful flashbacks. I really like this technique they use as it’s a different way to ‘get to know’ the characters, it also gives you empathy towards them and allows you to understand the characters more.
The characters I’m not as keen on would have to be Shannon, she’s a typical ‘girly’ girl who just screams at everything, which I can’t stand. I’m also not a massive fan of Jack, as he feels he has all this authority, yet I feel he’s quite heartless and despite saving peoples lives and helping others, he’s portrayed as a bit of an idiot.
I don’t want to write too much, as there may be some people out there who are yet to see Lost (highly unlikely though) haha!
